Stella has been working as a performer and dance facilitator for early years since graduating from Laban Coservatoire of Dance in 2012.

As a performer, she has collaborated with various dance artists, taking part in many dance festivals, residencies and workshops in the UK and Europe. Stella has also produced her own work In collaboration with dancer Elisa Vassena, making site specific performances with an interest in using everyday objects as other moving bodies.

Stella started her journey into community classes in 2017 assisting and delivering movement sessions for families and young children across London. Soon after, she worked in several nurseries offering one to one, improvised dance encounters for children with special educational needs and disabilities. She found these sessions incredibly deep and powerful: dancing, connecting and learning through shared experiences. Stella is excited to be part of Confidance and to support the company’s mission of equality and inclusion through dance.
