A fun and lively dance class for people of all abilities; we focus on developing social, physical and cognitive skills through creative exploration and learning dance sequences in this friendly and welcoming class.

10 - 11.30am - Dance Class (run by Confidance)
12 -1.30pm - Drama Class (run by Ian Linton)
Run in partnership with Marlowe Theatre and Canterbury Day Services, MAC is for people with learning disabilities aged 16+ who want to develop their performance skills through dance and drama

10 - 11am - Marlowe Diddies (Early Years and Carers)
Diddies is a creative movement and play session for parents and toddlers. A dynamic and fun session, which uses the body and imagination, developing early dance skills and having lots of physical fun to a range lively music. Dance props are used to inspire movement and interaction such as feathers and a parachute which always inspires lots of creativity and excitement! Wyvern School, Ashford
2 - 3pm - Arts Award Dance Class (Wyvern students only)
3.45 - 5pm - Teenagers with learning disabilities (Wyvern students only)
Dance class encompassing technical training, performance skills and choreography. Students work towards achieving their Bronze Arts Award. This class provides opportunities for participants to visit theatres to see professional dance works.

A fun and lively dance class for people of all abilities; using a person-centred approach we focus on developing social, physical and cognitive skills through creative exploration and learning dance sequences in this friendly and welcoming class.
11.30 - 12.30pm - For adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities
The session begins gently, focussing on sensory and social skills through partner work with carers; focussing on 'Body Awareness Through Touch'. The session then builds in tempo using free-flowing movement and culminates in a dance-based relay race!
